The ideal candidate should have 9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with significant experience managing and running litigation cases in a first-chair capacity. Job Overview:The Employment Litigation Of Counsel will be responsible for defending and litigating lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims, advising and counseling employers on employment and labor law issues, and representing employers in court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. Duties:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges.Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.Preference for experience with Class Action/ PAGA cases.Provide supervision over associate and paralegal work, including delegating assignments and providing feedback.Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.Pay attention to detail and maintain a commitment to excellence.Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Possess strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.Uphold professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork within the firm. Requirements:JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.Current California Bar admission in good standing.Significant experience (9+ years) in employment litigation.Experience managing and running litigation cases in a first-chair capacity. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the California Bar. Skills:Strong leadership and supervisory skills.Thorough understanding of employment and labor laws.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.Commitment to client service and satisfaction.
