POSITION SUMMARY General cleaning of the facility. Terminal cleaning/disinfecting Removal of garbage. Replenishing soap and paper supplies. Additional duties for isolation cleaning as assigned. Other cleaning duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Successful completion of Grade 10. Must successfully complete a written skills, communication and English competency test. SKILLS and EXPERIENCE Two years of relevant housekeeping experience preferably in health care. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health practices. Knowledge of WHMIS. OTHER Ability to lift 50 pounds utilizing appropriate lifting techniques.
