Purchasing Manager Malta Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 + Benefits Division : Hospitality; Hotels; Restaurant My client is an innovative operator with multiple food and beverage concepts and hotels in the Mediterranean. They are currently undergoing an exciting phase of growth and development, which has resulted in the need of a full-time Purchasing Manager to join the team Key missions and responsibilitiesbe responsible for all purchasing functions, quotations, quality, and availability. negotiate contracts for the purchase of required goodskeep accurate records of transaction trends, implement sound purchasing policies, systems, and procedures in accordance with Company standards. monitor vendors for quality, service, and prices through standard purchasing specifications. obtain competitive quotations for Hotel/Restaurants’ requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchasedensure that all orders received dates are updated by the buyers according to the suppliers promised delivery dates. ensure the efficient operation of the purchasing department in all aspects. research and identify new products and services in the market for the hotels and restaurants. The ideal Purchasing Manager candidate: Have a proven track record working as a Purchasing Manager or Buyer with experience with the Hospitality division. Have strong multi-category knowledge Experience in building strong supplier relationships Be passionate about and have a good understanding of the hospitality sector; on-trade and foodservice experience Experienced in working in a fast-pace environment Outgoing and can connect positively with all personalities and have ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders up to c-level. Be assertive and self-sufficient.
