We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Hydrogeologist, Geologist or Environmental Consultant/Scientist/Engineer to join our client's Contaminated Land team as a Contaminated Land Consultant. This is a full-time, permanent position based in either Dublin or Wexford. We also offer a hybrid work environment, supported by advanced IT systems and software management tools. As a Contaminated Land Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic team providing professional services for complex contaminated land and hydrogeology backssments. Your work will involve supporting due diligence backssments for property acquisition and divestiture, as well as providing expertise in IPPC, IED, and waste-licensed facilities, including license applications, compliance, and surrender. You will also contribute to the backssment of unregulated landfill sites for both private sector clients and local authorities. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to staying updated with changing legislation and industry trends. Strong project management skills, the ability to motivate others, and excellent attention to detail are essential for this role. Responsibilities: Project management of contaminated land projects. Designing, managing, and supervising site investigations and sampling, including fieldwork. Conducting Contaminated Land/Hydrogeology Risk backssments and Waste Classification backssments. Preparation of technical reports and deliverables. Qualifications/Experience Required: Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science/Engineering, with a Master's Degree preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a consultancy working on contaminated land. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project milestones. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
