Term of App't: Monday - Friday (30hrs/week) Start date: December 11, 2023 Reporting to: Associate Dean of Academic & Vocational Programs Salary: $72,444.00 - $85,957.00 annual starting wage, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement (annual increments up to a maximum salary of $110,680.00). Vacation entitlement annually is 240 hours (pro-rated from hire date for current year), to be utilized during the non-instructional period, with additional time off (paid) between Christmas and New Year's. We offer an extremely competitive extended health and dental benefits plan. Additionally, there is mandatory contributions to the College Pension Plan. Description: NLC's Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work with young children and their families in diverse early learning settings in British Columbia. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Early Care and Learning, with extensive related work experience. Instructional experience in a comparable or related post-secondary program 3 years' experience working in a licensed Early Care and Learning Centre Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC) Diploma (or equivalent) with Infant/Toddler and Special Needs Educator Certification from the BC ECE Registry (or proof of eligibility for certification).
