Lecturer in ESOL hours per week, 52 weeks per year £32,732 - £39,096 per annum We are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic full-time lecturer to teach ESOL learners(16–18-year-olds). You will have a proven track record for outstanding delivery in teaching, learning and backssment within ESOL and preferably experience of working with 16–18-year-old learners in particular. You will also be delivering a small range of additional courses to Adult ESOL learners (Essential Digital Skills, Multiply, Award In Progression) to supplement their main ESOL course so a good base knowledge of IT, Maths and Employability skills is required. You will have demonstrable experience in high quality student support, curriculum development and blended learning delivery. You must demonstrate a good understanding of adult learning context and the motivations and barriers facing students. The successful candidate will be working with a team of experienced professional and will be responsible for course leadership and internal quality assurance so familiarisation with the awarding body’s course outline and backssment guidelines (City & Guilds) is essential.
