We invite you to explore an exciting opportunity to join our client's Contaminated Land team as a Contaminated Land Consultant. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the flexibility of a fully remote setting supported by cutting-edge IT systems and software management tools. Role overview: As a Contaminated Land Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in a dynamic team, providing professional services for complex contaminated land and hydrogeology backssments. Your responsibilities will include supporting due diligence backssments for property acquisition and divestiture, offering expertise in IPPC, IED, and waste-licensed facilities, and contributing to the backssment of unregulated landfill sites. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude, a passion for learning, and a dedication to staying updated with changing legislation and industry trends. Key responsibilities: Project management of contaminated land projects. Designing, managing, and supervising site investigations and sampling, including fieldwork. Conducting Contaminated Land/Hydrogeology Risk backssments and Waste Classification backssments. Preparation of technical reports and deliverables. Qualifications/Experience required: Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science/Engineering. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a consultancy working on contaminated land.
