Our client pride themselves on an extensive portfolio of parts and offer expert precision manufacturing to the highest level across the defence and aerospace sectors. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team. As Production Manager you will be responsible for planning and assigning resources to meet and exceed the MPS and Customer Performance expectations Key responsibilities as Production Manager: - Ensure the smooth running and manufacture of components. Working to expected customer drawings and specifications. - Ensure a safe place of work, promoting all activities to be absolutely performed in accordance with regulatory and company Health and Safety policy and requirement. - You will have the opportunity to develop your team and manage their personal development -being involved with training, coaching and appraisals. You will work with them on objectives, clocking disciplines, and be involved with any disciplinary proceedings as required. - As Production Manager you will work closely with the Strategic Operations Manager to ensure Demand v Supply is aligned. Key experience as Production Manager: - You will require strong communication skills and listening skills and be able to command the respect and be able to influence a team. You will be required to a positive role model - Youre planning and organisational skills will be exceptional. - An HNC or higher qualification in Production would be advantageous but not essential. - You will possess high levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation. - You will have demonstrable strong leadership and situational leadership skills Benefits: - £50 - 55k Basic salary DOE - Discretionary performance.
