We currently have an exciting one-year term opportunity for you to explore as Workplace Initiatives Program Support and backssment Officer. About Our Opportunity As the Workplace Initiatives Program Support and backssment Officer, you will report to the Manager, Workplace Education and Training in the Workplace Initiatives Division, Labour, Skills and Immigration (LSI). You will work collaboratively with the Sector Initiatives and Workplace Education and Training teams to achieve daily goals and ensure effective program delivery including developing strong relationships with business, industry sectors and associations, to understand how LSI programming can best fit with their labour market needs. Responsibilities include: information database management; using backssment criteria to evaluate and recommend projects; information gathering to ensure evidence-based decision making; project budget administration; project monitoring and evaluation; and working collaboratively with other program areas within LSI to maximize program effectiveness. Qualifications and Experience This may be the right opportunity for you if you have a university degree with three (3) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must have skills in proposal backssment and recommendation, especially related to backssment of business training needs and requirements.
