Salary will be $15.00 per hour. Full-time position (40 hours per week) plus insurance and time off benefits The hours for this position will be from 7:30 to 5:30. Each two week pay period will consist of one week working five 8 hour shifts and one week working four 10 hour shifts, for a total of 40 hours each week - giving you a day off every other work week!! Easterseals Florida is seeking Early Childhood Teachers to join our amazing team of early childhood educators in our Igoe-Amar Child Development Center in West Palm Beach. A snapshot of what you'll do: Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment Support and allow children to grow and develop to their fullest potential Assist with activities, set up, and preparing materials and supplies Supervise children Greet and communicate with families on a daily basis Qualifications: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED with one of the following: A Florida Staff Credential (one of the following): Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC), Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC), National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC), or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training Current CPR and First Aid certification Easterseals Florida has been rated a 2020, 2021, and 2022 Great Place to Work by our employees!
