We are proud of the difference we make in the lives of our residents during their rehabilitative journeys, and we invite like-minded individuals to explore this wonderful career opportunity.The LPN assists the RN in responsibility for total resident care for the residents following established facility policy and procedures, federal and state regulations and nursing standards of practice. Duties: Major job functions include performing nursing tasks to assure resident needs are met. This includes: monitoring resident needs, condition and care; administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician; orders and receives medications from the pharmacy; admits and discharges residents; oversees NAR/RCA staff; ensures narcotic policy and procedures are followed; reports changes of condition to RN/Supervisor and physician as delegated; monitors for side effects of medication and reports prn; ensures resident care plans are being followed.In addition, the LPN will transcribe and execute physician orders; completes documentation as required; completes fall reporting; reports any bruises, skin tears and abuse/neglect; gives report to nursing staff; follows and upholds Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies and procedures; maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA requirements, etc. Provides excellent customer service and communication to all residents/families/visitors/MD's/ coworkers, etc. Qualifications: Tennessee LPN or Multi-State License in good standing. www.gallawayhealthandrehab.com We are now offering Daily Pay!!
