Grants Specialist This position is responsible for performing a wide range of administrative key functions necessary to the grant development process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Prepare monthly grant invoices for assigned grants in accordance with all Private, County, State, Federal guidelines. Responsible for gathering required backup for documentation for each invoice. Assist with reviewing data from EHR needed for monthly invoicing and reporting. Maintains accurate records related to budgets and amendments. Work closely with Accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting and procedural compliance on all grants. Assist with researching and reconciling discrepancies with General Ledger and other source documents. Assist with time and effort reporting system, ensuring it is complete and in compliance with applicable regulations; maintains regular communications with applicable departments. Additional Duties Other duties / special projects as assigned Be audit-ready at all times. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Associate degree in business/Accounting or other related field. Strong knowledge in MS Office. Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to handle details accurately. Ability to work effectively and maintain composure under pressure of short deadlines. PREFERRED BACKGROUND Experience in a non-profit healthcare organization and/or grants is preferred. Ryan White/ HIV background preferred.
