For more information visit our website at www.ccs-soaz.org. The Service Coordinator position assists in overseeing the service desk and coordinates the distribution of all donated goods. Conducts initial screening of individuals to determine service need. Assists with outreach activities for the Housing and Family Services Department. Position may from time-to-time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May complete other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for service desk duties, including: greeting clients, screening and ensuring that they are directed to the appropriate department Answers and routes incoming calls, takes messages, and provides information and referrals as needed Responsible for data entry, assists with preparation of reports, keeps accurate records for programs, and performs general office duties, as needed Conducts initial screenings of participants to determine eligibility for services Assists with outreach activities for the Housing and Family Services Department Inventories, organizes, and maintains all donated service areas Maintains a clean and safe environment May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business STANDARD BEHAVIORAL RESPONSIBILITIES Staff members will be respected as human beings with certain job skills who are contributing to the total success of Catholic Community Services Employees should respect each other's workloads and avoid excessive personal conversations causing work to fall behind and work pressures to increase Adheres to Mission and Valued Actions of Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona, Inc. Meets the needs of internal and external clients with dignity and respect Consistently display positive attitude, and team spirit Accepts responsibility for, and maintains, confidentiality Adheres to expectations of required mandatory in-services / certifications / licensures MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Corporate Director of Human Resources. High School Diploma/GED One-year related experience Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational skills Strong communication skills - oral and written communications are clear and concise using appropriate style, grammar and tone Ability to lift 20 pounds, as needed REGULATORY: Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver license, proof of insurance, and 39-month motor vehicle report Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (employer paid) Pass pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bilingual, English/Spanish (verbal and written) Associate Degree in related field ServSafe Food Handler Certification Knowledge of and ability to maintain food safety and sanitation regulations Additional years of related experience The above statement reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.
