An Ability Programs Instructor will lead program instruction for members and participants with disabilities, and actively engage participants in age and skill appropriate adapted physical activity programming. The Ability Program Instructor is responsible for: Safely supervise and lead participants through provided activities. Adapting program activities to suit each participant's needs. Positively engage and interact with participants while encouraging positive socialization between participants. Reinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship and bring enthusiasm to every shift. Acknowledge different learning styles and meet the needs of each participant. Develop strong relationships with participants and their families through communication and actions.
