The green flag dropped on Dover Motor Speedway events on July 6, 1969, when Richard Petty won that day's Mason-Dixon 300 by six laps. In 2023, the 1-mile oval nicknamed the "Monster Mile®" hosts another NASCAR tripleheader weekend on April 28-30.
