Position Details Company Name: BS Quality Construction Ltd Company Location: 13864 Hyland Rd Unit 27, Surrey, BC V3W 2C3Position: Drywall Installer Number of positions: 2Salary: $27.50 per hour Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Work location(s): Various job sites in Surrey, BC, and other areas of Lower Mainland as per the companys contracts with its clients. Job Duties Measure cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings. Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs. Coordinate work procedures for drywall installation and removal. Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound. Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound. Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry. Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings. Job Requirements Completion of secondary school. Completion of 3-4 years Apprenticeship program in the trade or a Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the similar trade. Ability to communicate in English. How to apply?
