Position: Lead CNC Machinist Shift: Morning / Afternoon Shift Location: Calgary, AB Job Type: Full-time About Us: Our client is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality precision components to our clients. We seek a skilled and experienced Lead CNC Machinist to join our team, bringing expertise in turning and turn-mill operations using Fanuc Control. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of CNC Machinists during the afternoon shift. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members. Ensure the team's adherence to safety regulations and company policies. CNC Machining Operations: Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, specializing in turning and turn-mill operations with Fanuc Control. Oversee the production of high-quality components according to customer specifications and drawings. Conduct complex machining operations to meet or exceed production schedules. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to CNC machining processes to maintain quality and meet production targets. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions. Quality Assurance: Measure and inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Implement and maintain quality control processes within the team. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure CNC machines and tools are well-maintained, performing routine maintenance activities as required. Coordinate with the maintenance team for more extensive repairs and improvements. Safety and Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the team. Requirements: Qualifications: Trade Certificate or equivalent. Minimum of 8 years of experience in CNC machining.
