As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions. Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, offering assistance and providing information about our delicious doughnut selections. Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions, process payments using POS systems, and provide correct change to customers. Order Processing: Efficiently and accurately ring up customer orders, ensuring that each transaction is completed with precision. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our doughnut varieties, special promotions, and any relevant updates to assist customers in making informed choices. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area clean and organized, and assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns or issues with professionalism and escalate complex matters to the appropriate supervisor. Qualifications: Must pass criminal background check, I-9 verification (E-Verify), and drug screening (excluding marijuana). Must possess or be able to obtain ServSafe certification. Previous cash handling or cashier experience strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn about doughnut varieties and customer preferences. Basic math skills and attention to detail. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
