Purpose Contributes to the overall success of the Investment & Advisory Solutions Group ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. The Senior Investment Consultant has responsibility for growing fee based and managed asset AUM, establishing, developing and retaining account relationships within the Scotia Mc Leod sales channel. The primary emphasis is on identifying and developing new business opportunities and expanding sales in order to achieve and exceed new business growth objectives. The secondary objective is to maintain and deepen existing Advisor relationships. Accountabilities 1. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. 2. Generates sales from new and existing clients and prospects in assigned Scotia Mc Leod branches: Assists in developing a regional business plan that will result in increased assets under administration, stronger market share and improved advisor ROA and regional ROA. Conducts regular branch meetings with Advisors and Branch Managers to educate them on the suite of fee based/managed asset programs Solicits feedback and needs from Advisors and communicating to the Investment Solutions Group Creates and deliver presentations for both Advisors and clients Increases transparency of managed asset and fee-based programs through regular meetings and calls Educates Advisors on the value proposition of the managed asset programs and help create scale in their book and improve their business models Helps to transition new and existing assets into the managed asset programs Identifies sales patterns - identify behaviours and program gaps/deficiencies, address concerns and make suggestions to improve asset growth Communicates.
