Reporting to the Manager, Power Systems Projects within the Strategic Projects department of Hydro One the qualified candidate will provide outstanding project management skills with a focus on scheduling, monitoring, tracking, reporting and controlling. Specifically, we are looking for a person with at least four years of relevant experience in fields such as project management and project development within the electrical utility sector. General Accountabilities: Conduct technical/economic/environmental/business/regulatory impact backssments and other specialized technical/business studies. Prepare comprehensive reports and specifications, and present recommendations to resolve issues. Monitor, control and redirect major programs and complex projects during the planning (development) phase by providing supervisor with solutions to project performance, scope, cost and schedule issues. Participate in the development, definition and preparation of programs, processes, technical/operational/business standards, procedures or methods including: Risk management, Reporting on work breakdown structures, Preparing project execution plans, Monitoring of project scope, goals, deliverables, quality and compliance requirements, Plan and prepare accurate cost estimates and cost control reports.
