My client is an established firm in the engineering manufacturing sector, based in Daventry and commutable from Rugby, Leamington Spa, Banbury, Coventry, Wellingborough and Northampton. They are currently looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their team. The Role: - CNC Milling on CNC 5-axis DMG Mori Mills DMG training can be provided - Working on Fanuc based controls - Working from drawings - Working on Gibbs Cam software training provided - Quality checking parts using various hand tools - Maintaining machinery, removing swarf and routine oiling/greasing etc - Working independently and as part of a team - Ensure full PPE is worn and always work in a safe manner, with consideration for other employees - Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate - Complies with all Company rules including all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements - Afternoon shifts are Mon Thurs 14:15 to 23:15, Friday - 13:15 - 18:15 Minimum Skills / Experience Required: - Experience of Setting and Operating CNC 5 axis DMG Mori Mills or other Fanuc based CNC Milling machines - CNC Miller on Fanuc or other G-code controls, such as Haas - Program editing experience desirable - Experience with Gibbs Cam software or willing to learn - Able to quality check own parts - Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with a high level of quality standards achieved - Motivated and excellent team player - Able to commute to the Daventry area The Package: - Starting salary up.
