As part of their program of modernisation and investment in the site and rolling out a new programme of investment in the plant and machinery they are looking for a hands-on EHS Lead to complement the new and forward-thinking leadership team based in Leicestershire close to the M1The Role - EHS Lead: In this stand-alone role, you will need to adopt a proactive preventative approach towards health and safety, nurturing a culture of best practice and collaboration and buy-in across the business Full reporting to the Senior Leadership team, creating visual H&S data around the site Ownership, administration and auditing of the Health and Safety and environmental systems to ISO14001 and ISO 45001 Standards Review, create and audit RAMS as required for works for both internal engineering teams and external contractors Work closely with the HR Manager to plan, develop and implement strategy for staff training and development including wellbeing Working knowledge of COSHH, Manual Handling, working at heights and DSEAdministrate internal databases to ensure all licences and qualifications are dated and relevant Conduct daily safety tours to ensure best practice is being followed and promoted Minimum Skills / Experience Required - EHS Lead: Previous experience in a Health,.
