Closing Date: February 5, 2024 Reporting to the Superintendent, Mining Engineering, the Senior Mine Engineering Lead is responsible for the development of strategic and operational long range mine plans that sustain and appropriately extend the life of our operations. Key focus of the role is to steward the Life of Asset (a mine or project) by optimizing currently permitted reserves and evaluating resource potential to scope new mining areas and extend an asset’s reserve base. To be successful, we are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, who can maintain flexibility and creativity in dealing with scheduling and mine planning; someone with strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills, who can prioritize competing demands in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
