POSITION OVERVIEW The mission of Headquarters (HQ) 15 AF is to provide ready combat forces anytime, anywhere. 15 AF supports its assigned 13 wings and 3 direct reporting units (DRU) by advising, assisting, advocating, integrating, and certifying (A3IC) its Force Elements (FE) through Combat Air Forces Force Generation (CAFFORGEN). 15 AF is responsible for leading FE certification development and implementation for the CAF. Your role within this opportunity will be to support the most efficient and effective staff that is ready to lead 15 AF's assigned 13 wings and 3 DRUs and provide certified and ready FEs to Combatant Commands (CCMD). This program will directly lead to developing and certifying "ready to deploy" wings and FEs to deliver combat air power. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze, develop and deploy innovative information/software systems and capabilities Participate in team environments via structured development lifecycles: analyze and define local and/or enterprise information system requirements, perform system/application design, develop capability prototypes, develop and implement operational information systems, and conduct unit and integration testing of application modules Act as the subject matter expert for software and information systems security Apply available technologies to adapt system/application environments to a variety of subject matter situations 13.5 Respond to technical issues and resolve problems with applications, cloud hosted resources, and systems administration Writes and updates documentation and provides information on applications and cloud hosted resources Responsible for planning, implementation, quality assurance, configuration, installation, integration, maintenance testing, operational integrity and systems security for SAP in support Headquarters 15 AF and subordinate units QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Possess a Security + Certification Possess a minimum of 2 years of information security experience Possess a minimum of 2 years of software development experience Possess a TS-SCI clearance Have experience supporting SAP requisitions/operations TS/SCI security clearance Desired Qualifications: Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university DEFTEC offers a comprehensive whole-life benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, holiday, paid time off, 401K with a match, life insurance, short/long-term disability, and educational reimbursement.
