POSITION OVERVIEW The mission of Headquarters (HQ) 15 AF is to provide ready combat forces anytime, anywhere. 15 AF supports its assigned 13 wings and 3 direct reporting units (DRU) by advising, assisting, advocating, integrating, and certifying (A3IC) its Force Elements (FE) through Combat Air Forces Force Generation (CAFFORGEN). 15 AF is responsible for leading FE certification development and implementation for the CAF. Your role within this opportunity will be to support the most efficient and effective staff that is ready to lead 15 AF's assigned 13 wings and 3 DRUs and provide certified and ready FEs to Combatant Commands (CCMD). This program will directly lead to developing and certifying "ready to deploy" wings and FEs to deliver combat air power. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform as Lead Contractor to schedule and track training for 15 AF HQ Staff personnel Assist lead contractor Unit Deployment Manager/ Personnel Readiness Monitor (para 4.13) to manage the pre-deployment training requirements for 15 AF HQ Staff personnel Perform as Lead Contractor to manage On-the-Job Training (OJT) roster, Upgrade Training Program (UGT), personnel Training Status Codes (TSC), and Career Development Course Program (CDC) for 15 AF HQ Staff personnel Perform as Lead Contractor to create and maintain a Total Force Annual Training (TFAT) database Perform as Lead Contractor to manage myLearning Learning Management System (LMS) including updating, loading, and certifying course training and certificates Perform as Lead Contractor to conduct and identify trend analysis and unit-training shortfalls to senior 15 AF HQ leadership Assist in anticipating, identifying, and incorporating training requirements generated by programmed changes in equipment, systems, applications, personnel, or operational procedures Assist lead contractor Computer and Communications Senior Planner (para 4.7) to define the hardware and software requirements and configurations for exercises both at home and deployed Maintain the Mission Essential Task Lists (METL) pertaining to Unit Training Manager duties and responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience with Combatant Command and Service Specific Pre-Deployment training requirements, and the systems used to track/report said training Secret security clearance Desired Qualifications: 10 years of experience with Combatant Command and Service Specific Pre-Deployment training requirements, and the systems used to track/report said training Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university DEFTEC offers a comprehensive whole-life benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, holiday, paid time off, 401K with a match, life insurance, short/long-term disability, and educational reimbursement.
