Location: Hibbing, MNWork Schedule: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite/week)Summary: As a Senior Engineer on our Renewable Energy Team, your primary focus will be wind energy development. You'll manage moderately to complex geotechnical projects related to wind energy, providing technical expertise to exceed client expectations.Responsibilities:Project Development:Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for moderately to complex geotechnical engineering testing projects, primarily in wind energy.Manage routine to complex geotechnical engineering projects, including project scope, schedule, budget, and safety.Technical Expertise:Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, offering professional opinions and practical solutions.Perform engineering analyses using industry standards and methodology.Review engineering analyses and reports prepared by junior-level engineering staff.Quality Assurance:Perform quality reviews of work by assigned staff, identifying and resolving internal and external quality issues.Provide construction phase engineering consulting and oversight on construction materials testing projects.Collaboration and Leadership:Collaborate with Account Leaders and regional operations to coordinate staff, resources, and workloads effectively.Ensure specifications are followed by working with Account Leaders, other engineers, project managers, and field staff.Assist in developing business goals and objectives.Provide leadership for technical or project-related teams.Client Relationships and Business Development:Support client relationships to achieve Wind market sector goals and strategies.Identify and pursue wind-related business development opportunities.Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships.Required Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.Effective organization and customer service skills.Goal-oriented and highly motivated.Ability to exceed client expectations in a time-critical/dynamic work environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.Required Experience:Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or a related engineering field.Professional Engineer registration/licensure in one of the following states:ND, SD, MN, IA, WI, KS, NE, OK, MO, TX, LA, NM, or AZ.5 or more years of geotechnical engineering experience in wind energy (preferred).Previous experience with large-scale construction projects (preferred).How to Apply: Apply directly to this posting or reach out to me for more information: jtooker judge.comThis exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the growth of renewable energy while working in a dynamic environment.
