Role: Senior Planner Location: Cheltenham Salary: GBP30000: GBP35000 We are proud to be representing a consultancy that provide professional planning advice on all planning related matters including site feasibility and planning opinions, pre: application advice, planning applications, discharge of planning conditions, Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) matters, planning appeals and expert witness, site promotion. This forward: thinking consultancy are looking for a Senior Planner to join the office based in Cheltenham. Essential Criteria for a Senior Planner: Degree and/or Masters in Town or Spatial Planning. Chartered Member of the RTPI. Minimum of 2 years planning experience post qualification. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self: motivated with a can: do attitude. Full driving licence and use of own car. Responsibilities and Duties of a Senior Planner: backssing the potential of site for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints, and advising clients as such. Preparation and coordination of planning (and associated) applications including the drafting of supporting statements. Liaising with internal and external technical specialties, clients and Local Planning Authorities. Preparation of fee proposals and management of project budgets.
