Job Title: Senior Ecologist Salary: GBP29,000 : GBP35,000 Location: Glasgow Are you a Senior Ecologist or a high: level Consultant Ecologist looking to join a leading, international engineering consultancy? In their Glasgow office youll be part of an expert team that works throughout the UK to deliver a diverse range of challenging projects. Their ecology team has been a long: standing winner of CIEEM awards, a testament to the skilled and diverse individuals that work there. Its a ideal opportunity for you if you have a strong desire to progress and further your prefessional development as an Ecologist. The Senor Ecologist positon comes with a salary of GBP29,000 : GBP35,000 dpepending on your experience. To be considered you will need: A degree in ecology, biology, zoology or closely related field Full membership of CIEEM Experience in UKHabitat survey Survey skills for one or more protected species, ideally with a focus on Scottish species A detailed understanding of Scottish and UK wildlife legislation, planning policies, licensing requirements and best practice survey techniques. Understanding of biodiversity net gain (BNG) / application of biodiversity enhancements in Scotland. Experience of producing ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisal Reports. Strong collaborative behaviours to interface with multi: disciplinary teams and other stakeholders. Willingness to complete field surveys and travel to different parts of Scotland (and occasionally other parts of the UK when required). A full valid UK/EEC driving licence.
