Sessional Lecturer in Maths 12 hours per week £28.78 per hour including holiday pay The Post We require a temporary lecturer to assist within our large and ever growing innovative and proactive team. We are one of the largest post-16 GCSE centres in the UK, teaching English and Maths to approximately 4,500 full time learners. You will be required to teach functional skills and GCSE Mathematics to predominantly 16 – 19-year-olds alongside their vocational qualifications as an integral part of their programme of study. Some experience of teaching students with barriers and challenges to learning would be an advantage. English and Maths The School teaches English and Maths GCSEs and Functional Skills. Key features of the Centre include: We work very closely with course teams across the College to ensure successful English and Maths outcomes for those studying full time vocational qualifications. A specialist tutorial team working closely with students, teachers and parents and providing support for progression to further and higher education, employment and training. Access to the College’s wide range of specialist services such as our library, additional learning support and personal and financial support. A friendly and informal working environment.
