Equine Technician 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year £23,630 – £25,656 per annum pro rata An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Easton College Equine Centre as a Technician (0.8 FTE). This is an exciting time for the Equine Centre as we see continued development and growth. This role will provide practical learning opportunities for students, including demonstrating skills to groups of students and supervising students as they carry out yard duties. In addition, duties will include supporting with equine husbandry, record keeping, and health monitoring, exercise, ensuring horses are cared for to the highest welfare and industry standards. The successful candidate will need to be a genuine team worker and communicate effectively, working in a flexible and busy environment. They will need to have relevant practical (mucking out, feeding) and riding (walk, trot, canter and jumping) experience, and a minimum of a BHS Stage 3 qualification or the willingness to obtain this.
