About the Role We have full: time positions to join our small successful Project Management team offering support to schools in and around Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and Shropshire. We are looking for candidates who are professional and driven with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Building Surveyor you will be joining a team responsible for the delivery of construction projects ranging from Classroom refurbishments to new build classroom blocks or extensions. The work offers a wide range of interesting work and is supported by the team when needed. Key Requirements: To be successful in this position, you will need 3 years previous experience working within a Building Surveyor role and ideally within the education environment. You will be able to write specifications and be conversant with CAD. In addition to the above you will also need to demonstrate the following: Minimum of a HNC in Surveying or related discipline, or equivalent level of knowledge acquired from the on: the: job training or experience In depth knowledge of building condition issues and where they can be found in school buildings and other structures, what are their likely causes and what remedial works are required (building pathology) Driving Licence and use of own vehicle is required (mileage paid at competitive rate) Ability to work under own initiative and.
