Composite Laminator - Permanent - Poole - up to £17 per hour As a Laminator, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on a diverse range of products, including large names within the industry. Your primary responsibilities will involve reading and interpreting lay-up drawings, applying your laminating expertise to meet specified requirements, and proactively addressing any deviations or errors you identify during the process. Composite Laminator - Permanent - Poole - up to £17 per hour As a Laminator, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on a diverse range of products, including large names within the industry. Your primary responsibilities will involve reading and interpreting lay-up drawings, applying your laminating expertise to meet specified requirements, and proactively addressing any deviations or errors you identify during the process. Key Responsibilities: Prepare moulds for gel coating Thoroughly understand lay-up specifications Apply gel coat as required Execute various laminating processes such as wet-lay, infusion, vac-bagging, pre-preg, or RTMUtilize hand tools effectively Detect and rectify laminating defects Work with core materials and bonding pastes Release simple moulds Handle patterns and jigs Use a variety of fabrics, CSM, and cloths in dry and pre-preg formats Experience required: Profound understanding of GRP laminating and associated processes, including trimming and grinding Familiarity with quality control procedures Preferred: 2+ years of experience in the Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, or other quality-driven industries If you want more to apply, or would like more information get in touch with Jack Baker on +44 2392 xyzxyz or email xyz X@navis- Navis is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
