Pension scheme and death in service benefit Private medical insurance The successful CNC / Manual Surface Grinder / Precision Machinist day to day duties will include: Surface grinding of high precision gauging and tooling associated with splines and gears for the automotive and aerospace industries working to very tight tolerances Set / operate manual surface grinding machines. Ensure production issues are resolved quickly, efficiently and production KPI’s are met. Comply with company H&S guidelines. To be suitable for this CNC / Manual Surface Grinder / Precision Machinist role you must have the following experience / characteristics: Ideally completed a relevant machining, toolmaker or engineering apprenticeship. Must have recent experience of manual surface grinding to very tight tolerances Able to use standard manual measuring devices such as verniers, DTI’s, calipers, micrometers, plain plug, screw.
