New Way Mortgages Corp. located at #304-32615 South Fraser Way, Abbotsford, BC V2T 1X8is looking for a permanent full-time Bookkeeper. Positions Available: 01Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time Language: English Wage Rate: $26.45/ Hour Job duties:1. ) Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems2. ) Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements3. ) Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax, and other bills4. ) Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents5. ) Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services6. ) Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports. Job Requirements: • Completion of secondary school is required. • Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field OR 1-2 years of experience in relevant field is required.
