Job Description:Operations LAN TechnicianJob Responsibilities:Field Contract Administration - 30% * Work with contractors to ensure proper paperwork and work is completed safely. * Complete contractor orientations. * Ensure all permit applications are completed and transfer them to work permits. * Oversee field contractor work to ensure safety, permitting, and housekeeping standards are being maintained. * Complete contractor audits * Communicate to the area on all construction activities. * Complete appropriate MOCs (management of change)Information Technology - 30% * Fix computer and printer issues as needed. * Install software, any updates, and install ethernet as needed. * Maintain server backups and file systems. * Maintain new phone system as needed. * Maintain folder security groups, and email groups at the plant. * Maintain local network. * Order computer parts as needed. * Deploy new computers as needed. * Help employees troubleshoot, password resets, and answer any computer questions. * Has knowledge on PCN and IP21 software. CAD Drawing Updates & Management - 25% * Create and update drawings in a timely manner. * Maintain Autodesk Vault file structure. * Maintain stick file drawings. * Assign EN numbers on all drawings. * Install new AutoCAD related software as needed. * Convert old Bentley drawings to AutoCAD.CAPEX Improvement Projects - 15% * Oversee the execution of continuous improvements projects for plant. * Work with the engineering and maintenance teams to model, detail, and implement new projects.Qualifications: * Minimum of 2 years work experience in an IT environment required with manufacturing alignment preferred. * Demonstrated ability to lead, work and communicate (both oral and written) with a diverse group of people in all functional internal and external groups (i.e. Safety Resources, Corporate Auditors, OSHA). * Must possess a demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace. * Ability to work in a team environment and serve the organization's IT needs. * Ability and willingness to lead changes in the organization. * Ability to lead continuous improvement and small CAPEX projects. * Strong computer skills required. * Basic knowledge level of manufacturing/process product flow and mechanical/facility operation. * Prior experience leading capital (CAPEX) improvement projects preferred. * Knowledge of understanding and updating P&IDs preferred. * CAD & Autodesk Vault experience preferred. * Knowledge of software, servers, local network, phone systems, IP21, PCN preferred.Our Company:Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions.
