We are seeking a capable and experienced Band 6 Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join the Community Adult Learning Disabilities service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands. This opportunity is open to suitably qualified Health Professionals, with PBS/LD experience and appropriate statutory professional registration. Report to the Positive Behaviour Support Team Lead and be accountable to the Service Manager In you will: - Work alongside both children and adults approx 50/50 with learning disabilities in a variety of community based setting. - Be responsible for conducting Functional backssments- Develop Positive Behaviour Support plans - Support families and staff to implement a variety of positive behavioural interventions. Please note; Guernsey has adopted the Af Cbanding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The Guernsey Band 6 salary range from 1st Jan is £43,954 to £59,343 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36 evening/Saturday and 72 Sunday/BH. Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000.
