Working Hours: 40 hours per week Full-Time - Monday to Friday, either 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. One weekend shift required every 4-5 weeks, with a day off during the week when a weekend shift is worked. Car Driver Needed: No Own Vehicle Needed: No Valid Business Insurance: Yes Main Duties: As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to low to medium-risk individuals transitioning into independent living. Your main responsibilities will include: Engaging with aftercare leaving teams to support service users in their transition to independent living. Ensuring benefits claims are submitted and maintained, monitoring accounts, and taking appropriate action in case of arrears, following policy and procedure. Planning and delivering effective support and safety plans with service users, referring to specialist agencies as required. Recording, monitoring, reviewing, and updating service user contact and progressions/outcomes regularly in line with contractual requirements. Keyworking a caseload of 6 or more clients, providing individualized support tailored to their needs and circumstances. Reporting to the Senior Support Worker and directly to the Services Lead when necessary. Undertaking lone working as required, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users at all times.
