The Judge Group is seeking a HR Generalist for a manufacturing company located in the Williamsport, MD area.Title: HR Generalist Location: Williamsport, MD Salary: $65,000-$75,000 plus bonus Relocation: YESResponsibilities: People Management: Guide and support people-management functions, including training and development processes. Manage employee relations, performance management, and training. Lead recruitment, staffing, and retention efforts, including talent management and succession planning. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Provide guidance and support for plant health, safety, environmental, and quality strategies. Ensure protection of employee and company property, safety, health, and environmental compliance. Uphold product quality standards. Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal obligations related to employment. Employee Communications and Community Relations: Drive efforts to improve employee communications and community relations. Worker's Compensation Management: Assist in managing the worker's compensation process, including post-injury procedures. Performance Coaching: Coach and counsel employees to promote maximum performance. Operational Understanding: Visit mill operational areas to understand various roles and responsibilities of plant personnel. Safety Audits: Conduct various plant and contractor safety audits, especially during mill maintenance outages. Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree, preferred - 2+ years HR experience in a manufacturing setting - Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
