The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Antenatal Testing to work in a busy NHS Hospital in.The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Antenatal Testing to work in a busy NHS Hospital in West Yorkshire. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's service. Position: Biomedical Scientist Banding: 6Location: West Yorkshire Hours: Full-time Duration: 3 months What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role As a Biomedical Scientist in Antenatal Testing you will be Screening for Down's, Edwards' and Pataus syndromes in first trimester combined screening and for Downs syndrome in second trimester pregnancies quadruple test. The laboratory works very close with screening coordinators across the region to meet the service specifications outlined by the Foetal anomaly screening programme and to ensure a safety delivery of the screening services. On a day to day basis you will also be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.
