The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Metabolic Biochemistry and Toxicology to work in a busy NHS Hospital.The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Metabolic Biochemistry and Toxicology to work in a busy NHS Hospital in West Yorkshire. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's service. Position: Biomedical Scientist Banding: 6Location: West Yorkshire Hours: Full-time Duration: 3 months What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role As a Biomedical Scientist in Metabolic Biochemistry and Toxicology, you will be expected to be proficient in using analysers and manual techniques to conduct specialist services for the investigation of drugs of abuse screening, metabolic laboratory studies and the investigation of trace metals. Experience with Mass Spectrometry would be essential. On a day to day basis you will also be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.
