The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in haematology/ Blood transfusion to work in a busy NHS Hospital.The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in haematology/ Blood transfusion to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Leeds. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's service. Position: Biomedical Scientist Banding: 6 Location: Leeds Hours: Full-time Duration: Ongoing What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role As a Biomedical Scientist in haematology and blood transfusion you will be expected to have an excellent experience in using analysers for full blood counts FBC and for coagulation. Having experience in blood film morphology would be preferential but not essential. You will be experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting the analysers alongside your usual duty in loading and operation.
