GENERAL PURPOSEDevelop the schedule for production at the highest level which products will be stocked or planned either prior to shipment or prior to assembly for made to order operations.--JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-- Translate orders into a sequential work schedule-- Analyze production specifications and capacity date and perform mathematical calculations to determine production processes and tools-- Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established production sequences and lead times-- Plan sequence of operations-- Communicate with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects-- Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions-- The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
