Senior Ecologist Penguin Recruitment is working with a fantastic, independent, Devon: based Ecology Consultancy. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join them. This is a permanent position based in Devon. Your package includes: GBP32,000 : GBP46,000 per annum + bonus scheme Flexible working hours CPD Service 25 days holiday + bank holidays The company are a highly respected consultancy that offer nationwide services to a variety of clients. They offer bat surveys and other protected species surveys; Phase I and NVC habitat surveys; ecological impact backssments; and European protected species licence applications. Your main duties: Principally working on and managing bat related projects; from survey to report writing, licensing, mitigation, watching briefs and monitoring. Phase 1/UK Habitats Classification surveys and other protected species surveys, including dormice, reptiles, GCN, etc. To be successful you must have: A minimum of 4 years experience in consultancy Hold a Natural England Level 2 bat survey licence. Experience of EPSL applications, report writing and undertaking ecological watching briefs/acting as ecological clerk of works. Educated to degree level in a relevant subject and hold or been eligible for CIEEM membership. Hold a full driving licence and your own car, to use when a company vehicle is not available.
