Ideally candidates will have gained previous experience working in a dealership or franchise environment, a VW/Audi group background being preferred. Ideally candidates will have gained previous experience working in a dealership or franchise environment, a VW/Audi group background being preferred. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a long established, market leading company. We welcome applications from VW/Audi group Vehicle Technicians from a dealership background, car mechanics, vehicle repairs and service. VW Experience is desirable. Key responsibilities for the VW Vehicle Technician role; Suspension upgrades including installing lowering springs, coil over and air suspension. Removal and re-fitting of brake callipers.4 Wheel alignment. Tyre fitting and wheels balancing. Installation of diesel heaters. Fitting of water tanks, leisure batteries and seating brackets for campervan conversions. Carrying out diagnostics and fault finding. Audio media upgrades. Carrying out electrical work as and when required. Liaising with customers if required. Skills Required for the VW Vehicle Technician role; Previous experience of working in a vehicle workshop environment is essential. Proficient in the use of air and power tools. Ability to use diagnostic software such as VCDS would be beneficial. Applicants must be fully qualified to NVQ level 3 or Equivalent. A full UK Driving. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
