Assistant Engineering Geologist : Bristol Starting Salary: GBP24,000 : GBP28,000 Applications welcome from recent graduates and engineers with consultancy experience This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Engineering Geologist to join one of the UKs leading, multidisciplinary engineering consultancies in their Bristol office. The successful graduate will receive training in both geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering allowing them to become a fully rounded engineer. You will get the opportunity to be part of a diverse multidisciplinary team, working on site investigations, earthworks designs and remediation projects. This Assistant Engineering Geologist position offers: Competitive starting salary (GBP24:28,000) and regular pay reviews 1: to:1 training from chartered engineers Flexible working Diverse workload across both geotechnical and geoenvironmental sectors Exposure to multidisciplinary working environment Full benefits package Balanced split between site and office work The successful assistant geotechnical/geoenvironmental engineer will attend ground investigations where you will do soil and rock logging, trial pitting and ground gas and water monitoring. In the office, you will write interpretative geotechnical and geoenvironmental reports, complete desk studies and liaise with clients. The suitable assistant engineering geologist should be educated to degree level in geology/earth science/engineering geology, have a full UK drivers licence and live local Bristol.
