MATERNITY COVER - Family Solicitor Location: Blackburn - Northgate Employment type: Fixed term & Full-time Hours Per Week: 36.25Role We are looking for a Solicitor to join our growing Private Family Team at our Northgate office in Blackburn on a fixed term basis for a period of 12 to 18 months to cover a period of Maternity Leave. The Family team are a growing team within the Lancashire area and there may be potential for permanent opportunities to arise during this period. Both full time and part time hours will be considered for this role, with the option to work on a hybrid basis, both remotely from home and in the office after a period of time in order to get up to speed on the firms systems/procedures and wider departmental training. This is a great opportunity for a Solicitor to bring their current skills and knowledge to a collaborative and professional team. Whilst the role will be working to the fast-pace, customer focus and high standards of a law firm, the role will also provide a sustainable work-life balance and relate to the regional area in which it is based. The role will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes such as: working alongside other Family Advisors; having direct communication with clients and third parties; dealing with a mix of Private Law Family matters, (Children Act proceedings to divorce and finances); dealing with advocacy work and attending court; providing legal advice and preparing legal documentation; involvement in successful Business development initiatives; using the Firm's case management system.
