What's in it for you? •$18 per hour •full time • Tues-Fri 1600-0000, Sat 1200-0000 (continental) •Paid on the job training •Garda World Uniform provided at no cost What does a Security Guard in {City} do? •Create a welcoming and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff •Provide exceptional customer service through the management of the reception desk (in person and telephone) •Foot patrol – inside and outside of the facility •CCTV monitoring •Deter and manage trespassing •Incident report writing Qualifications to become a Security Guard in {City •Valid Ontario Security Guard license •Current CPR-C standard certificate as issued by a WSIB-recognized provider •1-year security experience •Work or volunteer experience within the vulnerable sector (patient care, disadvantaged groups, mental health and drug addiction) •Ability to meet healthcare immunization requirements •Legally eligible to work in Canada •Available and willing to work continental, rotating shifts, including weekends.
