We are currently looking for a Sen Scientist to join our Omics and Informatics group within R&D Protein and Process Analytics department on a 12 month fixed term contract. This team is responsible for delivering high-value technical innovation to Lonza, both via specialist analytical projects and as part of wider collaborative project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for leading scientific activities for R&D projects, including elements of laboratory work, scientific writing and review, testing of new technologies, method development and optimization. This position requires experience in liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, including equipment maintenance, sample preparation, data acquisition, and data analysis workflows. Experience with other analytical techniques for protein biochemical and biophysical characterisation is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Leading and executing scientific activities for R&D projects, including elements of laboratory work, scientific writing and review, testing of new technologies, method development and optimization Performing a range of analysis using mainly liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. Analysis and interpretation of complex data sets Reporting and presentation to internal stakeholders and external conferences Key requirements: BSc or MSc in life sciences or equivalent.
