As a Quality Control Technician, You Will: Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines Conducting Laboratory and Field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures Perform Field Quality Control Testing (Material Sampling, Compaction, Coring, Crossfall) Examine the sample provided and write/advise any discrepancy on test and field reports Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated Participate in activities related to the quality system Other Duties as required What You'll Bring: Post-secondary education in a Civil Engineering or related technical field considered an asset Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality Good background of aggregate use in road building, concrete and asphalt production CCIL Type C and Type H certifications an asset Excellent communications skills Must be able to work with minimal supervision Team player Computer and Microsoft Office skills G License and Clean Driver’s Abstract Ability to lift 50 lbs.
