The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Job Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for Business Excellence aspects of Delivery: billable hours, project management, resource management, workload assignments of the team, etc. Project Manager span of control extends over a group of technical and people managers and by extension their direct reportees as well. Key Responsibilities: --- Manage employee workload and trainings --- Conduct daily touch points with each employee in your team and conduct regular team meetings to flow down company and immediate organizational communications --- Manage Time & Material, Tasked based, Unit Fixed Price, and Firm Fixed Price projects of medium complexity for work packages from our customers. Project management will include on-time delivery, proposal preparations, risk assessments, timesheet approvals, and financial management. --- Monitor the Health of Lower Complexity projects lead by Team Leaders and provide project approvals as applicable --- Conduct Root Cause Analysis and encourage and monitor Productivity and Continuous Improvements as required for the customer work package --- Manage Customer point of contact by assisting with scope and work package definitions, report weekly status, conduct quality and progress reviews, solicit regular Customer Satisfaction Feedback --- Escalate issues requiring customer action to the appropriate stakeholders --- Work with your Center's Technical Leadership and Subject Matter Experts to ensure projects are executed with high technical quality and technical career development is provided to your team members --- Create a team environment where your employees are encouraged to grow professionally and challenge themselves --- Support Hiring by conducting interviews as required and providing Hiring Manager with candidate feedback Qualifications: --- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related technical field preferred but not required --- 8-12 years of career experience --- 3-6 years' experience in managing a team --- Experience in supervising and managing a team and their work load --- Experience in fostering customer relationships --- Strong project management and organizational skills --- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in leading project presentations --- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work independently --- Proficient in Microsoft Office Quest Global is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
